Rojas Roofing is experienced with all types of exterior materials, including roofing, siding, windows, and gutters. We also handle interior damage such as drywall, texturing, and painting. This means we are a one-stop shop to restore your home after a major weather event.
Step 1: Not sure if your property has hail damage? Call Rojas Roofing for a free inspection of your damage. We will document all areas of damage.
Step 2: Call your insurance provider and state that you have had a licensed roofing company indicate that there is hail or wind damage to your home and you would like to file a claim. Your insurance provider will send out an adjuster who will inspect your property and write up an estimate for the value of your damages.
Step 3: A Rojas Roofing specialist will look over your estimate to determine if supplementation is recommended. Supplementation is a process of negotiation with your insurance provider to ensure that your estimate is properly written with all areas of damage. More than 80% of claims are underwritten, so this process is essential to get you the most out of your claim.
Step 4: Once supplementation is complete, your project begins! We install from the top down: your roof is first, followed by gutters, siding, and interiors.
Step 5: After your home is fully restored, Rojas Roofing will send your completion paperwork to your insurance provider and ask for any remaining depreciation to be disbursed. All done!

Understanding your Insurance Claim
Interpreting your insurance paperwork can be a challenge! Our knowledgeable staff are happy to walk you through any questions you may have, but these key terms will help get you started:
Replacement Cost Value (RCV): This is the value of your project as determined by your insurance carrier. This would include the restoration of any damaged areas on your home as a result of a weather event.
Actual Cost Value (ACV): The RCV minus the depreciation of your project. Some homeowners have ACV policies, which means you will not receive recoverable depreciation payments.
Depreciation: a reduction in the value of an asset with the passage of time, due to wear and tear. Once your home is restored, you will receive this amount of money. It is not paid upfront.
Net ACV: Your ACV minus your deductible. This will be the amount given to you in your first payment dispersal from your insurance provider. Unless you have an ACV policy, this is NOT your final payment from your insurance carrier.
Supplement: An amount added to your RCV after a professional, such as a Rojas Roofing Specialist, negotiates on your behalf to accurately write your estimate. At Rojas Roofing, this additional amount is added to your total at no extra cost to you. That could mean getting extras like gutters, garage doors, or full siding replacements which were denied in your original claim.
